During our Deep Rest and Renewal therapeutic session, I aim to guide your body, mind, and nervous system into a deep state of rest and relaxation, fostering a space for profound healing. Through gentle yet powerful techniques like breathwork, grounding exercises, and guided visualization, we create an atmosphere infused with peace, love, and healing energy. With a focus on touch and presence, my hands naturally carry a calming strength that supports the body’s release of tension and encourages deep restoration. My calm and nurturing approach ensures that you feel safe, supported, and deeply cared for throughout your journey to wellness.
Before your first session, I will guide you through what to expect, ensuring you feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. We'll explore restorative poses designed to nurture your body, discuss how to effectively use yoga props to enhance and support deep relaxation, and delve into mindsets that promote rest and healing. I’ll encourage you to share any concerns or questions you may have, fostering an open and supportive environment. When you feel ready, I’ll invite you to begin in Savasana, close your eyes and gently let go, embracing the journey inward.
Session Overview:
During a 60-minute restorative yoga, guided visualization, and Reiki healing session, clients often experience a profound sense of relaxation and tranquility. As you settle into restorative poses, your body is gently supported by props, allowing for deep physical release and comfort. We will invite the nervous system to feel relaxed and safe.
Guided visualization helps transport your mind to a peaceful, serene state, fostering mental clarity and emotional balance. I will offer the opportunity to bring in emotions like compassion, love, and peace offering the heart the space to feel deeply and fully.
Reiki healing energy will flow through your body, promoting a sense of harmony and well-being. The energy offered is always of the highest love and healing and will move to where it is most needed for your highest good.
During a healing session, many clients report experiencing sensations such as tingling, warmth, or a gentle flow of energy moving through their bodies. These sensations often accompany emotional releases, where feelings emerge seemingly from nowhere, providing a cathartic experience. Some clients describe a lightness in their body, as though burdens are being lifted, while others feel a deep connection to their inner self, leading to insights and emotional clarity. It's not uncommon for clients to also experience a sense of timelessness, as if the session transcends the usual constraints of time and space. Whatever you experience is perfectly perfect! It’s important to stay open, have no specific expectations and surrender to the moment.
After sessions, clients frequently share their experiences of feeling profoundly at ease and lighter, as if a weight has been lifted. Many express a newfound sense of peace and mention that headaches that were present have disappeared, while others report improvements in other areas of their body including vertigo. For some, it's the first time their body has felt fully relaxed, which often results in experiencing yawning and deep sighs for hours afterward as they continue to release old energy. Restful, deep sleep is another common benefit, leaving clients refreshed and rejuvenated the next day.
